Can I limit access to certain videos?

All of Your Business Channel videos stored on CSOcertified.com can be assigned different levels of access. For example, the company administrator can assign certain uploaded videos to management level employees and others to hourly level employees. The administrator also has the ability to allow other employees (i.e. regional managers) access to assign videos to his/her regional employees.

Can I categorize my videos based on access to certain audiences?

Videos that are stored on CSO– Your Business Channel can be assigned different levels of access, for different audiences (i.e. Management level employees, hourly employees, shareholders etc...). Your company administrator can assign certain uploaded videos to management level employees and others to hourly level employees. Each viewer will receive a unique login and password to enter the system.

The administrator also has the ability to allow other employees (i.e. regional managers) access to assign videos to his/her regional employees. The admin can also assign videos to the media, clients, customers and more… The possibilities are endless.

How do I get a video customized if I don’t already have one?

Do your online courses provide state-specific compliance certification?

Your company must comply not only with federal employment laws, but also state laws that often have more strict standards. Many of CSO’s courses not only address federal law but also state-specific laws.

Is course material updated when the law changes?

Legally accurate compliance training may quickly become outdated or inaccurate as laws and regulations are enacted. If the law changes in a way that impacts the training, CSO will update your course at no extra cost. Once updated the company administrator will receive an email alert and is then given the ability to alert all employees assigned to the video to watch it and take the test again.

How do you ensure that employees understand the course materials? CSO’s courses are designed so your company will be able to demonstrate that each person who completes a course understands the course's key concepts. Throughout each video the employee is given review sessions, and in many cases the opportunity to answer some key questions for each concept.

At the end of the video, the employee will be prompted to complete a brief test to ensure comprehension of material; the employee must answer a question correctly on each key concept to receive CSO certification. If an employee misses a key concept question, they are directed to watch the video again and complete the test. In order to receive CSO certification the employee must correctly answer a question on each concept; this ensures the employee fully understand the key concepts presented in the course

Do your courses provide separate instruction for different employee levels (i.e. supervisor, exempt, non-exempt)?

Supervisors usually need to learn more about workplace compliance laws than hourly employees. CSO’s program includes courses that are targeted specifically to supervisors' and managers' responsibilities. When setting up employees through CSO, the company administrator has the ability to assign videos to different levels of employees.

Are the CSO courses available in languages other than English?
